Classic Far Side

Gave this to my 8 year old son for his birthday and although he doesn't get it all, he is learning to appreciate good far side humor! He ate the whole book in an afternoon, laying in his hammock! That is life. )

I would not purchase it again. The group of chosen cartoons were not the best and the book was a throwaway after reading it. I would not even give it away.

I remember receiving a cartoon daily in our paper from the Far Side. My sister had seen this particular book for many years ago, so I was excited to see it on Amazon. The condition was great. Gary Larson's compilation was one of my favorites.

I probably should have stopped there right, but I remembered Gary Larson from my youth and wanted to read all his books. It seems that there are only a certain number of cartoons, each book contains what seems to be a small number of new ones and the number of older or different ones is annoying. If I had to call it, I would choose one of the larger books and do it for a day. The main thing to note book-to-book is the cover.
