I bought it for my daughter, who is very interested in learning about God and the Bible. It is beautifully illustrated and contains daily readings relevant to her age group from well respected female role models in our society. She took a liking right away to the book and reads it every night.

   BUYER BEWARE - QUESTIONABLE LANGUAGE & TONE
I just want to warn anyone who is thinking about buying this that the language and tone of quite a few of the devotionals are questionable at best! I think anything that refers to bad girls as sl*ts should be avoided. I don 't know what Zondervan is thinking about publishing this kind of commentary targeted at girls and promoting this idea of girls being labeled based on behavior, but when I bought it for my teen and read it, I was appalled!! It would be one thing, but by the time I read all the devotionals and commentaries, there were so many that seemed inappropriate and not edifying that I decided to get another Bible altogether. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! !

   Happy With My Purchase
I bought this for my 12 year old daughter, who is really just beginning to do her own Bible reading and studying. I first looked at it and love it! She is excited to read it too. The only complaint I have is that part of my decision to go with this one was the pictures in other reviews of it having the beautiful teal cover and design with the ribbon marker, but it is just a regular hardcover with no ribbon.

For my 12 and 13 year old daughters, I found nice Bibles for my 12 and 13 year old daughters. All the pages were in tack, no missing pages, pretty color. Nice size font!! Nice size font!! '' They both wear reading glasses so that its perfect! No complaints. No complaints received.

I purchased this after my 7th grader gave her life to Christ. I wanted her to have a Bible that she could understand and kept coming back to this one and boy am I glad. I love the devotions that she can relate to that are scattered throughout the entire time. Its a really great purchase.

Bought for a gift and hoping the modern day stories inserted here and there provided relatable tones for my 13 year old. The inserts help explain the context that was written in the surrounding Bible pages and helps teenagers understand the passage of the Scriptures. Normally, I have to initiate her to pick it up, but she often refers to it on her own because it is written for her age group. Happy! ''
