For those not familiar with Big Nate, think Diary of a Wimpy Kid meets Calvin and Hobbes. He fights a daily battle against overzealous teachers, undercooked cafeteria food, and all-around conventionality. The book by Big Nate is another good read. This is great, sarcastic and a silly read. It helps children to read and interest in reading. This series is fun and keeps a kid's interest. I would buy it again and I would recommend this book too.

My 10-year-old nephew loves all Big Nate books, and this book was no different. They are a fairly short read for a 10-year-old, but they are fun and kids will go back and re-read them.

My 8 year old son loves absolutely everything about them. He laughs loudly while reading them. He has reread them all and he has got them all more than once. He can 't wait for the next one. Lately, he really likes to read them out loud to us-with a lot of expression.
