We have read it over and over again. I ordered two others from his series, but this is her favorite, I think. Beautiful reading, funny pictures, and perfect for 412 year old on the cusp of reading.

My son is a huge fan of Well, the bad guys and the Yeti Files. This seemed to him well with his reading style and his sense of humor.

Always looking for new books to keep interest 7 and 9 year old. There were less than 20 words per page - very attractive illustrations, but not what I am looking for to promote actual reading.

We love Bird & Squirrel! Way to go James Burks!
Derived From Web , Dec 14, 2018
We love Bird's uptight personality and Squirrel's happy-go-lucky personality and the way it plays when they are together adventuring. We love the humorous and creative storyline - it is especially nice that there is no crude material. We have all 4 books in the Bird and Squirrel series and my 10 year old regularly re-reads through all of them, which says something because he doesn 't really likes reading. James Burks, thank you so much!

Recomond for reluctant readers.
Derived From Web , Jul 20, 2018
The story is about a bird and a squirrel odd couple and their miss adventures. Very funny and cute. Our mobile library, book local, suggested this book for my son. He has a learning disability and is a low reading level for learning comprehension. I was sure that he didn 't read it at all. This series is in a graphic novel style. When the book was returned, the librarian asked what his favorite part was. I bought the books in all 4 categories. My son has read them over and over again.
