For beginning readers that grow with your child
Broomhead said librarians were delighted parents could find the books their child needed. At the top of each book there is a circle indicating the level of the book with a number and color. Before your child can read and understand the level on their own, a parent needs to begin purchasing level 1st grade level books to read to their child. Following suite, when the child can read and understand level one books on their own, parents gradually move to the next level, putting them in your home library so they can choose it to read again. The more the merrier, librarians say. The stories were written by award-winning children's book authors and illustrators.

The children had already met Beicuit and love him.
This book was a present from the Head Start program. Each child received a book to take home. Before the boy was killed, his family had met Beicuit and the children had fallen in love with him.

   Love biscuit
It was the perfect present for my 4 year old daughter. In the meantime, she is in pre-k and is starting to learn to read. It's great to be back home, said McCall, who has had very good books. We read them daily and work on sounding out the words she knows.

   Great book for a toddler!
The book is in great condition, said Ragin. And, for the record, my 3-year-old niece has only scratched the surface of this book. In fact, I think that Whitney probably would have loved it more if the weather had cooperated. I got a lot of questions about why Biscuit wasn't allowed to go to school, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. She was a little upset when he was not welcome, she said.

   Darlilng book
The other day I got a call from my son's teacher who said, "Your kid is starting kindergarten." He has read all the books, and he absolutely loves this book. I'm not ashamed to say that these are very cute books.

Good book for 2 to 3 year olds
Wasn't as good as the original Biscuit book, but it's still a good story book and little one still enjoys it, Sosa said. It's a good story and easy to follow for my daughter.
