Sweet simple stories for little puppy lovers!
Derived From Web , Dec 23, 2020
They both love dogs and my 3 year old enjoys the puzzles games at the end of the books. These make great stories about bedtime! Because there are multiple books in the box, both toddlers want to read all the stories before bed. That said, these are all quicksimple reads. All of these stories are very sweet and I would recommend it for any young child who likes dogs.

Not Five separate titles
Derived From Web , Oct 18, 2020
This set of Biscuit books is marketed as five separate titles, illustrated on the front of the box set. I received five books, but two of the same titles as Mind Your Manners, Biscuit. I did not receive the book Biscuit visits the Doctor ''. If I had known that there were duplicate titles and not five separate titles, I would not have purchased this item. This was very disappointing for my grandchildren, since they love the books by Biscuit.

Nice sweet paperback books, but display little racial/ethnic diversity
Derived From Web , Aug 10, 2020
I am not sure why they never name the little girl who owns and loves Biscuit. It is perhaps to make her more universal? But it also adds a little bit of unnecessary mystery. I read her lines aloud as if the little girl is speaking just the words The little girl said... '' A drawback of these books is that they lack a robust treatment of racialethnic diversity. Most of the characters are white, especially the adults who work in the places that Biscuit visits. At least, the teacher is portrayed as male, not the female stereotype, and some adults who have seen working jobs are older with white hair. Also in a story, Coraline has a dog-toy rag doll that reminded me too much of the button-eye characters in the animated film Biscuit. I ended up gluing something over it.

Great books for four year olds!
Derived From Web , Feb 21, 2020
I bought the first Biscuit books when my grandkids were about one and we have been reading them since then and love them. They read the words and learn along. This set is great and they love the little handle to carry them. A fabulous price also.

My nephew loves these!
Derived From Web , Sep 28, 2019
The books are of good quality and surprisingly durable. The day got them, he was excited about the little case they were in. He likes to carry it around. He even tried to fit in his other books by Biscuit. It is a fun gift that a child can enjoy while reading. The stories are also cute. I already read them several times to him and he picks up words.

Books are adorable, package was bent though
Derived From Web , Aug 30, 2019
It is like a tiny suitcase that they can carry. I have marked only a star because the box in which the books are meant to travel is bent on the bottom. It must have been squished during transport against something or had placed something heavy on top of it. It is too late now to exchange it. It is going to a 5-year-old so that it won 't stay in perfect condition anyway, but seeing as it is meant to be a birthday present, I wish it came in a better condition. Overall, it is a nice set of books for the price and the 5-year-old loves Biscuit.
