Book Overview

In a world of magic, Asta, a boy with anti-magic powers, will do whatever it takes to become the Wizard King

Asta is a young boy who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. Only one problem--he can't use any magic Luckily for Asta, he receives the incredibly rare five-leaf clover grimoire that gives him the power of anti-magic. Can someone who can't use magic really become the Wizard King? One thing's for sure--Asta will never give up

Asta and his teammates were ready for trouble when they were sent into a magical dungeon full of traps, but going up against the Diamond Kingdom may be too much for them to handle. Even Yuno couldn't stand up to Mars and his mineral magic--does Asta have a chance.?

   Pretty Good
Compared with the first two volumes, this one seemed short and didn't take long to finish. The story seemed to slow down in this volume, Crowe said. The ending picks up speed. I'm excited to be back with the boys.
   Still a strong shounen.
This volume continues the thread of Ashta's quest to become wizard king. I'm sure it will develop as the story unfolds. In this volume, we introduce more nobles, the world of the nobles' kingdom, and a new villan.
   A great buy!
I've had a lot of fun with the manga series. I've always leaned toward magic realism. The fights and the exceptionally drawn magic of the wizards draw you in. The characters are relatable and the writing is witty.
   One manga at a time!
Black clover is in my big three manga right now. Binged the show and caught up to the latest episodes - the show is on hiatus for what is rumored to be a movie next. I'm taking my time reading each volume so that I savor the story and my memory is fresh when the show comes back! Absolutely thrilled to read it!
   Too low resolution!
The resolution on this was so bad that I could not even read the entire thing. It was a showstopper for me, Rosalyn said.
Teenagers love these books and DVDs
This is one of a series my granddaughter asked for, Melissa said. A lot of grown ups love these too and have the whole series so I will continue to add to her set, Mr. Dhaliwal said.
