   Beautiful!
m a big fan of the illustration style of Krommes, I could spend the house just enjoying the beauty of these illustrations. The whole premise is based on the arrival of a rainy storm. The whole thing feels like a real experience as the reader sees the reactions of the animals and people to changing weather. Not only does this book provide beautiful illustrations, but it also reads like poetry, which I loved. A true winner that would be perfect for sharing during a rain storm or in a classroom studying the weather or seasons.

   Delightful book for anyone!!!
I am a grandmother, but have been collecting children's books for myself that have excellent illustrations, a moral or humorous story, and I am delighted that I added this book to my collection. I highly recommend this book, not just for these reasons, but for the children I have shared this book make me want to read it again and again. I love this book ''. If you purchase it, you will not be disappointed.

   Great on great
Blue on Blue is a beautiful poetic book with a gorgeous rhythm. The words paint a wonderful picture in the mind of the reader. The text is simple, yet effective in capturing the imagination. As a parent, I love finding books that my children pull off the shelves time and again. As a teacher, I love finding books with texts so vivid that students see exactly what the author has crafted. I am enthusiastically recommended by this book and excitedly recommend it!

   poetry on poetry
i have collected carefully illustrated books for a few decades and i must say that this is one of the best purchases i made. Books are not just a source of information ; they are also a source of language and imagination. Put a book into a child's hand that is rich in language and illustrations and you will soon have a child in love with language and books. That is what happened to me some decades ago. This book is rich in sonics and rhythms, coaxing the reader to anticipate the next page turned. As a poet, I can not praise this book high enough. And don 't worry if you think you don 't like poetry, you will love this book because the poetry sneaks up on you.

I am an avid fan of Beth's work - I love both her narrative young non-fiction and her naturalistic picture books. BLUE does not disappoint on BLUE! Beth Krommes's deceptively simple rainy day poem gives Dianne White the opportunity to connect the cozy feelings of family, childhood and home with the wonder of a rainy day and reading of a book.
