A story of scorned witches, sinister curses, and resurrection, The Bone Witch is the start of a dark fantasy trilogy, perfect for fans of Serpent & Dove and The Cruel Prince.

Tea can raise the dead, but resurrection comes at a price.

When Tea accidentally resurrects her brother, Fox, from the dead, she learns she is different from the other witches in her family. Her gift for necromancy means that she's a bone witch, a title that makes her feared and ostracized by her community. But Tea finds solace and guidance with an older, wiser bone witch, who takes Tea and her brother to another land for training.

In her new home, Tea puts all her energy into becoming an asha--one who can wield elemental magic. But dark forces are approaching quickly, and in the face of danger, Tea will have to overcome her obstacles.and make a powerful choice.

   Page turning
The book is very well painted with scenes to write a picture in your mind. I have completed it in three days and I look forward to reading the next two.

   Great read
I loved this book from start to finish and couldn t put it down. And then, when it was finished, I wished it wasn 't so that I could continue reading it. I can 't wait for more from this author.

I was unsure in the beginning, but soon in love.
I have not yet read anything like The Bone Witch ''. It was maybe the slight discomfort that occurs when I am trying to get used to an unfamiliar authors'flow, word choice, tone... but in the beginning I was not sure. There was something about the lone adult woman who called to my own darkened heart and couldn 't look away once I met her child self. I'll have to read it again because I tore through the pages in two nights. The last few days I spent wondering about Tea and how she became so broken. And I am so eager to read more. We fly from Tea to The Bard, which is fine, but sometimes I am not sure who is telling the story. It becomes a few sentences in the wrong but feels clumsy. Thank you so much for writing such beautiful and strange descriptions and for building such a rich world. I love every stitch and every gem.
