   Good starter on human body
Our son is 4 and loves to learn, his mom said. I started buying more educational books for him because they are easy to read and he has a good vocabulary. He has some level 3 or 4 verbal fluency, but it is too easy to get to level 1 without a lot of effort. At 4 1/2 years old, most children are not at level 4. It varies according to the topic and maybe on which brand of early reader it is. All early readers gave small bites of information with illustrations. Because they are so easy to absorb, they are also useful for long-term storage. It's a good introduction to the human body, Raymond said. Basic Info makes some good points, but it doesn't have that many pictures to go with it. He may be ready for that, but I have not found one. Some books, such as The Beatles' "Abbey Road," have too much information, or are too complex. I recommend this to all children ages 3 to 5.

Great introduction to the skeletal system
The book is full of such heartwarming stories that my boys, ages 7 and 5, will have trouble putting it down. Even with the introduction, the book is a delight to read, with great illustrations and easy to understand text. It is educational, but at the same time, we are not losing interest. The text is accurate, but simple enough that my 7 year old can sit and read it to his little brother without any problems. To the reviewer who complained about the reference to Halloween, it does have one page that mentions Halloween, but in no way does it advocate or state any opinions on the merit of Halloween, nor does it state any opposition to the costume. Only then can we expect to see some serious money coming out of Iraq."

   Great Book!
I bought this book for my stepson and he absolutely loves it! Pauley also tells us that despite all the criticism, he "literally wants to take it everywhere."

   Great way to start reading.
This book is by far the best. My daughter is learning to read with Step by reading with usborne books from httv4210. myubam. com and into reading books.

Good book with exception on one page!!!
I made the decision to buy this book because I was looking for science books and books that could help my daughter learn about the human body. The book is absolutely great with the exception of one page, said Dr. Goin. In fact, there is one passage in the book that says something about Halloween. In my case, I don't celebrate Halloween and I always avoid anything that has to do with it. However, there is no way to know exactly what the book is about until you get it. I bought the book because I had not even heard of Halloween, and I want to alert other people so they don't make the same mistake I did.

   Looks used
Poor review, too, because it looks so used. The corners are worn and faded, and the paper is beginning to chip. It's supposed to be a present, right?

Starts off as Level 2. Ends as Level 3.
A great reader, but ends up in the Level 3 zone.

   Cute book.
I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, and this book is well worth the read. It was originally for my first-grade classroom, and it's great to have it around. However, it has some good little facts about bones and your body that my son really liked. Gave him a little more knowledge about bones and the way they work in a simple way, said Goodrich.

   Perfect for new readers
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a new reader. They are simple but challenging enough to keep her interested.

   Fun non fiction
My son loves reading and is advancing so fast it is hard for me to keep up. I got him a few books off Amazon to see what level he would be at. This book was perfect for him, Raymond said. We all loved it as well, I love giving kids non-fiction, they have no clue what they are learning, Margaret said. He can tell you the smallest bone in your body is in your ear and the largest is your femur. He also tells us how if you didn't have bones you would be a blob.
