   “Life is a game and books are the tokens."
Here is what my fifth grader thinks about this awesome book, Book Scavenger '' is an exciting adventure into which you will be sucked and there is no guarantee that you will get out. The main character Emily has to live up to her parents'dream of living in 50 states in 50 states and the constant moving causes her to never have the chance to grow roots and make friends. When she moves to Book Scavenger's home, the creator of her all time hobby, Garrison Griswold, she is thrilled. She meets James and they become fast friends. Together with Griswold they unlock the secrets of the new game's creator. This book is perfect for any future detective and for every book lover. If I could give these 20 stars, I would give them.

   Genius, How Has NO ONE Thought Of This?
Get a book and hide it with a disguise and then make up a clue for other people to find its location. This is the most simple and creative idea ever since Lemoncello's library series. The idea is not the only spectacular component of this book ; it is also one of its kind with its execution. Using a fictional structure and adding in many little bits of truths creates a Spindly book! I was closing in on 4 stars, but the character development with Matthew, a Flush fanatic, turns into a... well a different person. There are a lot of books with this style, but this has a twist to it.

Unbelievable because of the freedom that children have to run across San Francisco. I enjoyed the book, but did not like the interactions of children with their parents.

   One of the best books I've read this year
One of the best books of any genre that I have read that year. I loved especially the tie-ins to the classical literature, such as the works of Edgar Allan Poe and Dashiel Hammett. From start to finish, reading is engaging. RUN, don 't walk to your nearest bookstore to purchase this!

   Going to share this book with the kids I know
Brings the reader along on the adventure, solving puzzles figuratively and literally. Explore San Francisco, the teenage turmoil of relocation, friendship and family all while solving the mystery of the found book! I am an adult and found it fun and refreshing, hope to see more from this author.
