We homeschool and love these workbooks
These are the workbooks that we love to use. They help us cover all the bases and give us easy to understand instructions, the pages are sturdy and the colors and graphics are bold.

Great practice for your First Grader
I am aware that this is Brain Quest Grade 2. Your child will love it if you give it to your first graders midway through the school year. It has fun activities to keep your child busy. It depends on your child's level of development. Don't use this book if your child is struggling in first grade. If your child is doing well in the first grade, read this book. The books have helped my 6-y-o nephew practice skills learned in school as well as learn new ones.

Good transitional material for 2nd grade
Tentative five stars. There is a good selection of subjects and skills. Before moving to 2 nd grade, it covers 1 st grade concepts. For example, math starts out very easy, with 2 number addition and subtraction, before moving to double digits, then triple, then the properties of borrowing. Language arts skills are broken down by type, such as reading comprehension, writing skills, and grammar. I wanted it to give my children a headstart with 2 nd grade and ensure my 1 st grade concepts were properly understood.

Excellent workbook, good representation of concepts, well structured
My daughter is using a course delivery method called Thinkster. It was getting more and more difficult for her. She became addicted to iPad. We looked for alternate options in the paper method, and we found this one. My daughter is a fan of this book. It is structured well, concepts are easy to understand, the work area is perfect, and it is too good to be true. It's a problem with almost all the books. It is difficult to keep them open because they are too big. I would like to see spiral binding for books that are thick.

   Feed the brain... Brain Quest!
My sons are 10 and 6. We bought the books to improve our learning experience. Am I not happy? no way! The books are great for reinforcing concepts. As we go along, I will keep purchasing the other grades. It's a plus to have all the subject areas in a book.

   Great for homeschoolers
A great book. The brain quest books are the ones our son always works best with and we have used a lot of different books. The book is easy to read and fun. We found this book to be the best book to use at the beginning of 2 nd grade because we know your child's abilities best. The book might be too easy for your child by the end of 2 nd grade.
