Book Overview

At long last, Bobby Flay shares his simplest, most sought-after brunch recipes--while still delivering his signature intense flavors.

Bobby Flay may be best known for his skills at the grill, but brunch is his favorite meal of the week. In Brunch at Bobby's, he includes 140 recipes starting with the lip-smacking cocktails, both spiked and virgin, that we have come to expect from him, along with hot and iced coffees and teas. He then works his way through eggs; pancakes, waffles, and French toast (including flavored syrups and spreads); pastries (a first) and breads; salads, sandwiches, and side dishes. Pull up a seat and enjoy a Sangria Sunrise, Carrot Cake Pancakes with Maple-Cream Cheese Drizzle, Saut ed Bitter Green Omelets, and Wild Mushroom-Yukon Gold Hash. You'll want to keep coming back for a taste of how Bobby does brunch.

   A MUST HAVE COOKBOOK
This cookbook has some wonderful and amazing recipes! I like to prepare a unique and delicious brunch or breakfast on week-ends and for houseguests, and this book has so many beautiful recipes that I have not seen in other cookbooks. Three of our favorites are Bananas Foster French Toast, Almond Croissant French Toast and Caramelized Onion, Spinach and Gruyere Strata. There are so many great sounding recipes that I plan to work my way through the book just as I did. This book is an absolute must have for anyone who cooks brunch for the family and friends.

This book is fantastic! My first of his cookbooks and I am ...
The cookbook is fantastic, would make most of it here. Just the right level of complexity and ingredients to make the recipes very easy to make, but also a big step above what I call the housewife - food. I am so glad I bought it and can not wait to use these recipes for years to come. Super happy with this purchase, I can not imagine anyone who likes to cook or who loves brunch, who would not be thrilled with this book.

Step up your brunch menu with this cookbook!
I enjoy cooking, but I don 't often spend a lot of time making breakfast or brunch menus. This was the first brunch cookbook I ever purchased, and I was excited for it to come. There are a nice variety of recipes, including cocktails, teas and coffees, which I did not expect. Most of the recipes aren 't overly complicated, either. I also enjoyed all the syrup and spread recipes really well. The almond butter syrup is the best I ever had and was simple to make.

Yummy, but heavy portions & lots of booze
Olive oil poached eggs have been my favorite so far. Which isn '' necessarily our kind of brunch recipe.

Get up at 6 to have brunch on the table at 11
This was important because we enjoyed watching Bobby Flay's brunch-focused TV shows. The things he makes on the show always seem normal, so I thought they would enliven our imaginative SatSun egg-and-bagel routine. So far we have made 5 or 6 recipes from this book and they all turned out fine. The directions are clear, there are not too many ingredients and the final product is nice to look at. That said, I find myself doing a little prep cooking the night before, just so we can complete these recipes in a reasonable amount of time on a weekend morning. Many recipes require a special added oil or something that has to be parboiled and then cooled or something else that requires time. I suppose he imagining his reader preparing a brunch with the same amount of care and purpose you would bring to a dinner party and that does not fit into my normal weekend.

Bobby Flay will up your brunch game to new, great heights.
If you are reading this, you probably already know that Bobby Flay is the real deal. He is a celebrity chef, but he really earns the honor. He has had a number of cooking shows and although I’ll always be in Throwdown, his brunch is quite excellent at Bobby's show, too. In this cookbook he shares his favorites and what a great collection of recipes it is! I made quite a few now, and they are almost all delicious but easy to eat. They are well presented, easy to follow and the high factor is wow. There is nothing to nitpick about, this is a great cookbook for a great meal.

Can 't wait to try many of these recipes. The pictures are great and I like that there is a description of each recipe.
