Book Overview

A Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, and Amazon Charts bestseller.

From #1 New York Times bestselling phenomenon Sylvia Day comes a hotly anticipated and passionate new love story.

Once, I would never have imagined myself here. But I'm settled now. In a place I love, in a home I renovated, spending time with new friends I adore, and working a job that fulfills me. I am reconciling the past and laying the groundwork for the future.

Then Garrett Frost moves in next door.

He's obstinate and too bold, a raging force of nature that disrupts the careful order of my life. I recognize the ghosts that haunt him, the torment driving him. Garrett would be risky in any form, but wounded, he's far more dangerous. I fear I'm too fragile for the storm raging inside him, too delicate to withstand the pain that buffets him. But he's too determined.and too tempting.

And sometimes hope soars above even the iciest desolation.

Emotional and heartrending, Butterfly in Frost marks a brilliant return by global sensation Sylvia Day, the #1 international multimillion bestselling author of the Crossfire saga.

   A read you won’t regret
One of my all-time favorite authors. This story is a great tell-all about how Sylvia can pull you into her stories and keep you there until the end. The two main characters are very likable and the story lines are well-paced. Very well written, Sylvia Day. The ending was stunning, too. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

   Not my fave Sylvia Day
This book took such a weird turn in the end that I thought I missed about 100 pages and was checking my kindle to make sure it didn't skip to the end of the book. I was left confused, this felt rushed, Garton said. This book is a total fraud, a parody, and a parody of Alfred Hitchcock's "Stranger Things." This ended too quickly and did not leave me satisfied at all, Mr. Caramore said.

   Compassionate novel with unforseen finale
It shows how we as individuals deal with grief but also touches on the feelings of helplessness our friends have. Don't think of this as an entirably sad story, there are plenty of entertaining conversations, dreamy bodies and one unexpected ending, he said.

A Disappointment from a Favorite Writer
Loved the music. This book started off ok and then what turned out to be close to the end reveals that the main characters have already been connected. The book ends with a couple of I love yous. I didn't read the prologue or review that said it was a short story, but I feel that Ms. Day just gave up on the story and published it anyway for a money grab. Since the Blairs' death, the English novelist has had no shortage of suitors. I will be sure to read the rest of the review.

   What a story!
It was a rollercoaster of emotions, the book said. For me, all the characters fell into place except for the teapot. Now that I know the secret, I have to re-read this from a different perspective. I'm not sure I fully understand the title of this story.

   Cheating
I have read every Sylvia Day novel in the United States. I'm delighted that she was able to crystallize her characters and plot them out. The plot is not defined, the characters are not defined, the plot is underdeveloped and the inclusion of other characters such as Eva Cross was a cheap attempt at providing excitement to a loyal base of fans without commitment to the development of this novel. Very disappointed, I wish I could have taken back the'read'.

Had great potential but fell short for me
I felt like this needed to be more than one book, Raymond said. The beginning and end of the show seemed rushed. The writer's wife, Elizabeth, revealed the twist in a few pages. Before the story ended, I wanted to know more about them. I still have a soft spot for McCall, but this one let me down. Will probably not reread this one.

Mostly graphic sex; not much story
The first 13 chapters of The Savages' book are all about explicit sex scenes. It was mostly a case of sex boring. Imagine, one said, what a bullet could do in someone else's head.

   The worst storyline ever
It made no sense your led to believe she's recovering after a divorce and then her other ex turns up next door, but she doesn't recognize him! It makes no sense, and nothing ever was explained. 0 2622010 2622070 2622070 This is a parody, the experts say. He said Blair never met Mr. Powell and that disappointed him greatly.

   Not a good book
After reading the first two books, I was expecting more from the author. Highly disappointed and having to wait for weeks for this book.
