The vibrant flavors of Spain brought into the American home kitchen by a young lauded chef and founder of one of America's most acclaimed new restaurants

Katie Button debuts her first cookbook ever as a peek inside the kitchen of her award-winning restaurant, C rate. This cookbook features 125 recipes celebrating the vibrant flavors and broad appeal of Spanish food. Button brings the cuisine at C rate into the kitchen of every home cook, showing readers how to re-create classic Spanish dishes and adapt them using American seasonal ingredients.

Really good food that you can make!
I bought this book long after its release ''. It arrived in the early fall of 2021 after a trip to Asheville. I have made only three recipes to date, but all are excellent and easy to master, the Spanish martini taste like a really good cream. The mushroom soup is taken to an entirely different and new level with the addition of a specific Spanish cheese, never would have thought to add cheese to the mushroom soup. Really good, company worthy and can be easily broken into steps ahead. There is also a recipe for artichoke salad with radish and yogurt that uses crumpled store bought sweet potato chips that is amazing, quick and easy to prepare. Highly recommended! I continue to make recipes from this book, as they are really good and surprisingly approachable. Hopefully, the next trip to Asheville will be far enough in advance to have us sitting at a Curate table.

So thrilled to find these recipes.
We eat many times throughout the year at this restaurant, as we are Asheville natives. So thrilled to find all our favorite recipes within. How generous of her to share these seriously with us?

Mostly Spanish Classics with some American twists
Good book, interesting photos and great variations on some recipes. I actually used this book in making a few of the dishes and have been satisfied with the results, which has not always been the case with some of the other purchases I have made over the years.

   Good recipes, awful binding
I like the recipes very much, but the binding falls apart after a few months and is virtually no use. I do have an issue with the reviewer who said, these are not Mexican recipes. Duh, it is a Spanish good, which is from Spain. This is not a fair review. Like I said, terrible Spanish recipes from Spain, great binding, hence the 3 stars.

   My go to cookbook!!!!
The recipes are great for a weeknight evening or a special friend on the weekend. Don 't let the ingredient lists intimidate you, take the challenge to find the right rabbit. My go-to is the fresh cod with tangerine sauce and garbonzos. It is a simple dinner when friends have bonded. I would come out with another just like that.

   Great recipes! Book falls apart...
I have had this book for a few months only. This review is not a reflection on the recipes, but rather the book itself. Seems as though others have had this issue, but the wrapping falls apart and all the pages come a part. I expected this if I had the book for at least a year, but I have had this book for only a few months.

   A wonderful cookbook
We have had the Curete experience several times when we are in Asheville, so that we are heavily biased. It has more than tapas, so the scope of this book is wide. Buy it now! You will be glad that you did.

   Amazing
We have been to this restaurant many times and have had many of the recipes there. Most cookbooks written by chefs from famous restaurants have ingredients that are difficult to find. This book is not so... I can 't wait to start making all the recipes I have had in their restaurant.

   Gold Star for Cúrate!
Yes, yes! My husband and I enjoyed dining in Asheville while visiting Crate. The recipes are easy to follow and even though I am an amateur, I was able to follow the instructions and recreate much of my restaurant experience right here in my kitchen.
