This book does NOT include the inaugural poem!
The book contained a poem that was read at the inauguration. It does not! I'm very disappointed.

A beautiful book from a brilliant woman
I wanted to be one of the first people to get a book because I ordered it on inauguration day. I am happy to finally have a copy! Ms. Gorman's poems are moving and beautiful. In my photo, she arranges them in unconventional shapes. I attached the photo because another reviewer mentioned the typeset was small, but I disagree. The hard cover book is very nice. The book would be a great gift for a poetry lover. Excellent recommendation.

   Bloody brilliant
This is brilliant. She uses words like a mathematician. She's had me both gasping and grinning because of her ability to see and just 53 pages. This is a book for people who are still alive today. It might be viewed as a curiosity by later generations, but only we can fully understand what's in these pages. There is a

Amanda Gorman's "Call Us What We Carry"
When this book arrived on our porch, I was excited. I was so impressed with her voicepoetry that I ordered it immediately after the Inauguration. I cried when I read the dedication. For all of us who choose to carry on. She is a great wordsmith.

   Brilliant and Beautiful
I picked up a book of poetry, called Call Us What We Carry, on my porch after work and read it all day. Her collection was beautiful. Call Us What We Carry is a collection of poetry, prose, and historical documents arranged in different ways, which explores the collective grief of the Pandemic and weaves it together with history and identity.

   What A Book!
I got this book a day early. Thank you, Amazon! I've been in it for the entire day. Let it wash over me. It isn't easy to read, but it's not meant to be. The collection is beautiful. The Hill We Climb is here, as a conclusion of sorts, so I won't say anything about it. This book is more than the poem you've already heard. I feel like I'm gushing. I am! Milk And Honey and What Death Taught Terrence are both good books to read if you enjoy poetry and reading beautiful poems.
