Very cute

It was a camping gift for a friend. The kids had a blast using it, said Jennette Tamayo, director of marketing for the toy company. Brand new computers are just as good as electronics.

Meh

Just fine, said Dr. Goin. I thought it was a book that would provide fun activities while camping, but instead it's more of a nature activity book. Also, I think the illustrations would be better suited for an instructional book. Some of the activities were a bit too slow, and I also felt that some of the instructors were not very good. Another technique is to use a plastic soda bottle as a magnifying glass. If you think this is a good idea, you run the risk of getting cut on a knife or burnt with a hot glue gun to make something that doesn't work. Another activity I thought was silly was making a shelter. Instead of "jumping jacks," it would be better to teach the child how to set up a tent, good locations for a shelter, etc. If I had to choose, I'd pass on this one.

Perfect book to get kids in on the camping action
Derived From Web , Mar 6, 2021
This book is perfect for keeping my kids busy at home and camping with fun activities and experiments. They can't wait to try making a compass, building a fire and tying knots, Mrs. Cowger said. They are excited to go camping soon and it's the perfect size to add to their day packs to keep them busy! This is an almost total win for this mom, the only downside is that we don't get to keep the car. I should have bought two so there wouldn't be fighting, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

Fun family book for your campsite, a hiking trail or even your back yard
Derived From Web , Mar 3, 2021
Our daughter Juniper just turned 5 and while we know she cannot read it herself, we are thrilled to add this book to our outdoor adventure collection. We were going to keep it in our camper but I'd rather keep it handy in our everyday backpack. There are a lot of great activities with no supplies required and the ones that do need materials ask for basic household items that most have readily available. Thanks for all the great work. It's great to see people still talking about it, said Dr. Chester Floyd, who has recommended it to a few friends.

Fantastic activities for kids

Great looking chair, Tunick said. It just arrived and my 8yo is flipping through it and finding things we can do now to prepare for upcoming camping trips. So excited!!!!!!!!! It's great to be able to estimate how much time is left until sunset, even if it's just a few minutes. I think it'll be great for all the kids.
