I loved this book!

I was so sad for David at the beginning. The father was cruel. His story was amazing after that. I loved the book.

I feel sorry for you if you can't read this book. You're either dead or inside. You should stay with this book after you have read it. You're going to need a pair of running shoes and some yellow post-it notes if you buy this book. If you read this book, you can change the rest of your life.

What a great thing. An incredible story. This man is truly. I need to change my view on myself. In the world and what my limits are. My potential is greater. I thought that the ceiling is higher and I can do more. Goggans gave us this new information.

A lifechanging book

It's worth getting the hard copy as a reminder of the challenges at the end of each chapter, even if I listen to the audiobook first.

The authenticity is refreshing. In the privacy of psychotherapy, the author lays himself bare in a number of ways. Great read.

The human spirit is incredible. David Higgins provides a readable case study in which he shows how you can achieve a lasting greatness even if you don't have the best circumstances. Goggins provides an action plan that will help you achieve your goals and believe that what lies behind is more important than what you have.

What a journey.

The possibilities are endless. There are many great quotes and useful tools. I spent a few days with Scott Gearen in the early 1990s. His story has shaped me. I've always wondered what would happen. As a wrestling coach at a high school, I will be using this book and many of your tactics at 50. Thanks for sharing.

I like the idea that this man was determined and successful. others could learn from this I bought the audio version because I didn't have time to read the book before my book club. The bad language was unacceptable. The audio book said the F word hundreds of times. It was not a paper book. I had to put on headphones because the kids wouldn't hear the language. Everyone in the book club was upset with the language. There was an attitude of "get over it" when he commented on other reviews. I did, that's right. The book was rated 1 out of 5 by me. I think the rest of the book club is doing the same thing. The book club was for business professionals. The language had an issue with both of them. I wasted money and time. ?

Not what it’s cracked up to be
Derived From Web , May 28, 2020
The book is not really applicable for people with multiple responsibilities who care about themselves as a well rounded human being. I would be neglecting my family if I worked 70 hours a week and ran 8 miles a day. The book does not address this topic. I don't think it's a good idea to put yourself in a dangerous health situation to prove something isn't good advice.
