A classic of early modernism, Capital combines vivid historical detail with economic analysis to produce a bitter denunciation of mid-Victorian capitalist society. It has also proved to be the most influential work in social science in the twentieth century; Marx did for social science what Darwin had done for biology. Millions of readers this century have treated Capital as a sacred text, subjecting it to as many different interpretations as the Bible itself. No mere work of dry economics, Marx's great work depicts the unfolding of industrial capitalism as a tragic drama - with a message which has lost none of its relevance today. This is the only abridged edition to take account of the whole of Capital. It offers virtually all of Volume 1, which Marx himself published in 1867, excerpts from a new translation of 'The Result of the Immediate Process of Production', and a selection of key chapters from Volume 3, which Engels published in 1895.
It takes about 11 Hours and 13 minutes on average for a reader to read Capital: A Critique Of Political Economy - Vol. Ii: The Process Of Circulation Of Capital. This is based on the average reading speed of 250 Words per minute.
Capital: A Critique Of Political Economy - Vol. Ii: The Process Of Circulation Of Capital is 624 pages long.
Capital: A Critique Of Political Economy - Vol. Ii: The Process Of Circulation Of Capital was written by Karl Marx
Capital: A Critique Of Political Economy - Vol. Ii: The Process Of Circulation Of Capital is book #36 in the Karl Marx, Frederick Engels: Collected Works Book Series and comes after and comes before

The Marx I know and love...
Derived From Web , Jun 1, 2022
To begin, this is NOT a read based on dogmatic views of communism, such as Marx's Communist Manifesto. The capital volumes are actually based on a more scientific basis about the inter workings of a capitalist economy. But be warned, the terminology is quite old, so I HIGHLY recommend reading time while reading. If one is looking to read real Marxism, then understand the whole capital series. I found it easier to read Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations before tackling these volumes. It will provide an easier roadmap and critique of capitalism before it ventures into other realms of communist theory. In total, five stars!

Understanding economics starts here.

The length of the book might be a set back for some people like it was for me, but once you dig into it, you will find yourself pleased with the depth of understanding that Marx offers.

Must have it in your library!

If you have Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations, you must have Karl Marx's The Capital to understand the economic discussion of more state versus less state and also the ideology behind the class struggle.

Scam product

The only good thing about it is the aesthetics of the cover. I am a Marxist and I dislike this not for the content, but because the dude who made it scanned the pages and slapped a cover on it. Don 't waste your money, get an actual copy.
