   Great quality of information
I did not look very closely when I ordered and did not realize that this book is actually huge. That said, it read pretty easily and has helped me develop some more questions to discuss with my OB and my pediatrician before I deliver. There is also a comprehensive index to help the reader find quickly needed information in the moment. Of course, one can also use Google for these top questions, but sometimes the results aren 't necessarily as concise as I 'd like. This book also provides a lot more information from centralized sources in a once reliable location than I was able to find by searching the Internet. No book is a replacement for discussion with your OBG or with your baby's doctor, but it is a good guide for what to expect and helps me have informed conversations with my healthcare providers of my family.

   Book damaged
I'm a little disappointed that I opened the box that the book came in and there is a huge blade cut in the first 15 pages. The book seems to have a lot of information, it seems like a good thing to have, but just wish that it would have been taken care of better.

   Great
This was taken with my first baby in December and I can see how valuable it will be. When you're a new mom, everyone has an opinion or a recommendation and it is just nice to have something to reference that is unbiased and fact-based. The book also came in a new condition with no issue. The money is worth it.

A lot of great information. Our go-to guide for a lot of questions and concerns.
I had this book recommended to me by one of my supervisors, who has a child around the same age as mine. I'm glad I listened to her, this book has a lot of wonderful information about everything from illnesses to developmental milestones. I have been reading the chapters on development as my daughter crosses these stages and even looked up answers to health concerns that I could not believe I was able to find so easily online.

   10/10 recommend
Information Loads of Loads. This book breaks the little things that you did not think meant anything. As a first time mother, I knew nothing. My mom taught me and taught me a few things, but even she helped some new things. Every baby is different. My mother didn 't encounter some of the things I come across with my son when she was raising me. I recommend it definitely ''. For the price, it wouldn t hurt to do some reading while you’re on maternity leave.

   Breadth versus depth of information
I got this when my eldest was around five because I was not sure if his behavior was developmentally appropriate and I thought that this book would tell me. This book has a lot more than what are appropriate milestones, but I did not find the information as deep as I wanted for his age on this particular topic. This is more of an encyclopedia of information on many different topics relating to baby and childcare. I would usually just Google to find information like this, but it is no fault of the book itself, it is just not what I was looking for.

   Great book
I am a new mommy and bought this books to give me an idea of milestones and other such things. This book is great because it covers that recommendations for sleep and meals love it very helpful.

   Really good
The book is loving the book. Provides good insight and tips. I rated it 4 and not 5, as I wish there was just that much more information.

   Informative but not over whelming
This book has loosened my mind on so many things. I am in the pre and post natal field and was nervous that I didn 't know a lot of medical information. I read it at a time in small bits, so it is not overwhelming.

Nice book, but it's definitely for the later
Honestly, I don 't see the value in this book so far. When my kid turns out to be at least a year or two, I will find some valuable advice in the future. So far it is only 2 weeks old and all the information about taking care of the newborn baby, breastfeeding etc in this book has been found in free brochures and handouts given to us in the hospital, nothing new.
