This book is wonderful!!! I have referred to this book numerous times over the past 4.5 years!!! I have referred to this book numerous times over the past 4.5 years!!!! I got my pink highlighter and went to town, highlighting paragraphs that specifically dealt with the plants I had in my garden. The authors'information is clear and very helpful and very, very clear! And I found her advice to be true!! And I found her advice to be true! The plants she recommends planting together really do help keep pests away! It's amazing!

Not very impressed
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I hate to say it, but I am not very impressed. It is an okay book, though I almost gave it two stars. I don 't think I found much useful information there, and my tomatoes and carrots don 't seem to do well together, actually hardly any carrots. I don 't think there is anything in this book that an experienced gardener does not already know. But if you're a novice, this book could possibly help you.

A wonderful companion planting book!
Derived From Web , Jul 18, 2021
I know we are in an age of digital books, but i like not having to wear my blue light glasses to read at night. I always try to order a real book, so that I can always try to order a real book. I have enjoyed this book for figuring out how to plant my garden. It is a wealth of info and so far I haven 't had a problem with pests while planting this way. This year, the Companion planting has been a garden saver. My great-grandson loves the title, plus my grand-daughter loves the title!

A must have for any gardener
Derived From Web , Jan 6, 2021
My mother had a copy of this book when I was growing up, and gardening has deep roots in our family, so that I read through this book constantly. I am so happy to have my own copy now as an adult with my own gardens. This author was a plant genius and her wisdom and writing style are not only informative, but also enjoyable to read for all ages. I also like the illustrations. There is something organic and original about sketches in books like this that really draws me in. Don 't hesitate to get a copy of this book, you will cherish it for years and probably loan it to loved ones.

Misleading
Derived From Web , Jun 10, 2020
This book has very few suggestions on less than 10 pages for what plants can be planted well together. Most of the book is describing uses for individual plants. It does a good job by explaining how herbs are used. I already knew the uses for the plants I wanted to plant. The book was useless to me.

Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2019
If you see this, it is because you were interested in gardening. That is, you need this book. It is such an excellent reference. It is such an excellent reference. There are details for every plant imaginable beyond just what they can be best planted near. I can 't imagine using the advice for each plant in this book and not having an awesome garden. I saw it mentioned on a YouTube gardening video. It was a great find! I recommend it highly ''.
