   Chainsaws goes brrrr
Denji is stuck with his dead father's debt and works himself to death as a devil hunter in order to get a normal life. Makima offers him that chance as long as he works for her. Dennis tries to benefit from his chainsaw powers under her in an experimental devil hunter group. Don't stop there, the book ends in a cliffhanger. Go on to volume 2.

Nothing special, but worth a read
The opening of Chainsaw Man vol 1 didn't invest me in feeling anything for the MC. I was closer to the chainsaw dog than the actual characters and I felt like they were so fast paced with the opening that we could have used more down time to really connect with the character. It was all very fast paced. I will take vol 2 to see if I like it. The art isn't scared to get bloody and that's what I really like about it. The shots were framed well.

   Your next favorite Manga!
I knew I was going to get the first volume of Chainsaw Man after reading the first chapter. This Manga has a lot of things from comedy to character development. It's a thrill to read a story with twists and turns and danger everywhere. You are eager to find out what happens next when you look at the art. Don't take my word for it.

   Beautiful Cover
I had to buy a physical for the cool cover art. The story is good. I wasn't a fan of the author's fire punch, but the characters didn't capture me. The beginning of the series seems a little weak compared to future stuff, though it has both an interesting cast and plot. I'm not a fan of most of the characters, but they get more interesting when they're developed. Most shounen have an interesting premise, but they turn boring later on. The series has an interesting beginning and only gets better. Most fan translations capture character voices better than honorifics. This one is not a problem so far.
