   Fun read for the young'ns
Jake was 4 years old when he loved this book. I will make the recipes with his sister when I visit. Ree is a marketing, cooking, writing, photographing, home school, and Food Channel star. She and her husband are active in ranching and have a lot of fame. They are entertaining and down to earth. The whole series of Charlie books are great gifts for my grandson because his dog is a real ranch dog.

   Disappointing story
This book was disappointing to me. I love the Charlie books, but this one didn't flow. I went to the bookstore to check out another copy because I thought the one I received was missing pages. I gave it to the grandson because theirs was the same. The son in law read it and thought he missed a couple of pages. It was not up to par.

The book was great. I started buying books for my granddaughter. She likes them. These books help children understand stuff when they run into it. Stay with them.

   Love Ree's cooking show and home products
I love Ree's cooking show and her design of a rug. She heard about Charlie the Ranch Dog on her show. When I saw them, I thought I'd try them. How can a woman have so many lines of products and children's books? Sorry Ree, I was not a believer. They have the same name as my dog and 8 of his cousins. Gave it a try. The books are read well. It is a good buy. A very talented lady. We' ll treasure them.
