   Charlie the Ranch Dog: Charlie's New Friend (I Can Read Book 1)
My grand daughter and I share this story. The book is good because a young child can read it by themselves or with an adult. This is a big step for a child to be able to read. The beagle dog is part of a story. The controlled vocabulary of the text makes it easier for young readers to comprehend. I recommend the 'I Can Read' series for any parent or grandparent who wants to teach their child to read.

   Ree Drummond - Another favorite!
My grandson demanded the rating for the book. He knows a good book when he sees it. The animals on the ranch are brought to life by Ree Drummond. It's a great book with great pictures. I think it will be a hit with your family. It's recommended!

   Duplicate but Charlie books still wonderful!!!!
These books are great for kids before they read, and as they learn to read. I hope they keep coming. I messed up and ordered the same thing. I don't want to pay for shipping to get it back. It's sad! These books are for little ones.

The ranch dog books are great. The story line at the end is odd, and this one is not our favorite. There is a cute book.

Beautiful pictures. The story line is pretty cute. The sentences were long. The vocabulary was for adults and not young children. Simple words work better for children.

I expected it to be better. They look cheap. Will not allow small children's abuse. The story is interesting. A book is too flimsy to allow a child to hold it.

   Passed the 5 year old approval test with flying colors.
There are some nice books for kids. My 5 year old grandson loves reading. The hound dog hand puppet was bought for me.
