If you have a child who is learning to read just and loves Paw Patrol, this is a great book! It is not too challenging, but still engaging, mainly because they have interest in the pictures and are learning to sound the words. My son is a fluent reader and still refers to this book because of his love for Paw Patrol ( ).

awesome stickers!

The stickers are the best part of the book. It is a great story, but I did not realize that it was the same exact story as an episode of Paw Patrol. As long as you're okay with it, it is a good buy.

My nephew asked specifically for this book and was thrilled when I gave it to him. He is reading at the 2 '3 level, but wanted to have this one for his collection.

Advanced Phonics--To Hard for Level 1
Derived From Web , Jan 3, 2017
The story is fun enough and the stickers are cute, but the reading level is way too advanced for step 1. I expected it to be a first grade reader, but the text is on page one Ryder and the pups are looking at the stars. We have difficult combinations of sh, ce, bb, le, silent e, ou, of th, and sh, all of which are very good, but is too hard and makes him proud.
