I ordered this book for our 2.5 yo thinking that it might be good because we are of Asian descent and soon teach her to use chopsticks. The book was not as I expected, but turns out to be quite fun, entertaining and cheesy with puns for adults! It is now one of our favorite books to gift as well!

Word Play Humor
Derived From Web , Jun 2, 2022
I bought this for my son Valentine's Day for the first time. It is funny and clever, but I really like that the humor is based on word play. The story and illustrations are cute and my son seemed engaged, but as we read it more, he has gradually picked up on word play humor and begins with similar punsdouble meanings.

Cute Story

I read it to my 1st graders, as I had to move in the middle of the school year, thus leaving the classroom. It was a good lesson about how you 'll be ok even when you are apart!

I have the baby book, the belly book and the birthday book for each of my 3 children. We love Spoon and all her kid books. I bought this one for my twin sister, and it was perfect because it is all about togetherness and individuality.

The book is very cute. I love children's books that have a good meaning. The drawings are cute and the way the author wrote it is also very cute! Teaches children about friendship and being independent. My daughter loves this book and is also a good book for her to practice reading.

A book that’s hilarious, witty and has a positive message? What more could you ask for?!
Derived From Web , Jul 6, 2020
My 4 year old did not quite get all the humor, but I couldn t help her cracking while reading it to her. This book is incredibly witty and has a positive message about the importance of friendship, but also maintains a sense of independence. You won 't be disappointed.
