The idea is great, the idea is well. Awesome is having something so clearly written and easy to read. My only problem is that it is outdated and false, so that some information is outdated, which is a big problem.

What these laminates do better than nearly any other resource is to give you a general overview and guide so that you can understand where the material goes. Similar to the artist's technique, where you have to create a vague rough sketch to understand proportion and relevance, these allow you to understand the significance of minutia and detail in the larger schematic. Also a great refresher if you return after a long time away and your own notes don 't make sense anymore. The Bad These can not replace the actual text or class material, though the entire series of constitutional law, civil procedure, and criminal procedure come closest. Some of the case references are also outdated. In particular, they do not have the amendments to the FRCP from 2007, which have been in effect for some time now.

   BarCharts are a great - but condensed - overview of the black letter law.
What BarCharts are NOT a comprehensive guide for students. You can only score well on a law school or bar exam relying on BarCharts alone. That is not their goal. What are BarCharts a consolidated overview of the black letter law? Use them as a re-view of the material you have already studied for the exam. In the Law School, BarCharts were the last thing I jumped over before taking an exam. It is a good refresher. Same as in the bar exam. I learned two nights before the exam over my BarCharts.

   Know what to expect!
We have a series of guides for quick study. These guides are generally not a substitute for 500-page study books, but are clearly very useful and quick references. When we need to write something on a scientific topic or merely a routinely punctuated document, we consult the Quick Study guides. This is a generic review, as one could always argue that each quick study guide should contain or shouldn 't contain. As a general, basic reference, the sturdy guides are excellent, well-organized and concise.

I like the way I can read and understand different areas of the law with this very easy to check folders. I have several others in the areas of the law.

   Game changer
I used this as a supplement while studying for exams. It is so helpful in understanding difficult concepts. It is also nice that the content is in a logical order.

   Perfect addition to exam materials
If your professor allows you to take any supplements you want into your exam, this is perfect for them. A few times where my notes missed one or another detail or something like that, this thing was a nice little reverted. Obviously it doesn't have a ton of detail, but it has all the relevant scaffolding for the major themes in the class.

Me saved on a short-answer question to get the only A in the class. Worthy to have just in the back pocket for opened-booked exams for emergencies like I used it for!

I love that I can use erasable markers to circle or cross out what I need more help with or what I have mastered. I am a paralegal in an law office and new coworkers always as to borrow even the law students.
