   Great for starters!
My son absolutely loved the book. Giving you excellent details about each character makes this book stand out from the crowd. Also, if you have any weaknesses, it's great to have them corrected.

   Great book for intro to Pokemon
It was his birthday and I wanted to give him something to eat. He has recently been getting into Pokemon and I thought this was the perfect thing to do. I had a similar thing when I was a little older, but it was like my bible for learning all of the pokemon, their types, evolutions etc. McCartney said: "There are a lot of people who would rather be at the beach than at work." I'll never forget the time I was asked about it. He's a fighter, so hopefully it's something he keeps and goes back to!

It lists the Pokemon in numerical order with a picture and name of the Pokemon, along with name pronunciation, a brief description about the Pokemon, height and weight, possible moves they can learn, and evolution phases as applicable. It doesn't overwhelm the reader with information, but it keeps it short and simple, like a Pokedex in book form.
