Strange addition to the Elick Clack books
Derived From Web , Aug 22, 2019
This book seems to me a little strange. All the various animals are rowdy on hearing the news, except for the duck that is mediating and is already very calm. The animals learn to be calm and more controlled, but when they arrive at the school and the bell rings for recess, the children are all rowdy, so join the animals! The always calm duck is seen sitting at the desk of the principal, and that is the end of the book. I find that a strange message would enjoy only principals. Like all the noises is fun, but the message still strikes me as odd. I donate my copy to the school library instead of adding it to my regulars to read to my kindergarten class.
