For me and my budget, decorations too far etched. I almost returned the book, but decided to rip out the pages that helped me become a LITTLE. I don 't recommend unless you have a very big budget and a very big house!

Too Perfect?

A pretty and cheerful collection of rooms. Rooms are beautiful and the beds are perfect. In fact, it was too perfect for my taste. It currently feels to me that each of the homes was designed for the same client. All furniture and accessories were purchased at the same time from the same vendors, which left me with the feeling that they are devoid of all but one personality. And yet they are beautiful . The design does not bother me. To me, they just seem to be a gorgeous hotel full of exquisite rooms or weekend cottages of gorgeous model rooms.

I loved Mrs. Howard's beautiful book. It had beautiful pictures, great ideas for anyone who is doing renovations or just small changes to certain rooms in their home. So many different shades of blue in so many fabulous settings. So worth spending a few hours on every page!
