Book Overview

Between the ages of 8 and 12, kids often start to wonder if Christianity is true. In Cold-Case Christianity for Kids, detective J. Warner Wallace draws readers into the thrill of high-stakes investigation by showing them how to think rather than telling them what to think. In this children's companion to the bestselling Cold-Case Christianity, detective Wallace gets kids excited about testing witnesses, examining the evidence, and investigating the case for Christianity. Includes author illustrations and links to a website (coldcasechristianityforkids.com) where kids can download activities, fill in case notes, and earn a certificate of merit. Detective Wallace gets kids excited about testing witnesses, examining the evidence, and investigating the case for Christianity.

How do you know what to believe?
It is from the back of the book that the statement is true. A new skill is presented to a class of students. The students use what they learn to solve a mystery. Each new skill is used to answer questions about the Bible, God, Jesus, and creation. This is a fun way to show how to use critical thinking and reasoning skills. Readers will learn about reasonable faith, how to test witness accounts and find out what is important about the chain of custody. The casemakers. com provides a good middle school resource for either individual or group study, and I think that's a good idea.

An Informative and Fun Book For Kids (And Adults)
Cold Case Christianity For Kids is a great resource for kids to learn about Christianity. It has a lot of information and is very engaging. I have been a fan of J. Warner Wallace for a long time. I have never read any of his books for children, but I am very glad I did. I bought this book for my grandson and I'm looking forward to hearing his thoughts on it. This is done in a fun way and he will love it. I would highly recommend his books for anyone looking into the claims of Christianity. He writes his books in a very engaging manner.

   Using in a parent/student group.
We are using this as a tool to focus on Apologetics in a family group. We love the way that the way of thinking is taught to our kids by the way of the CCC.

Good read with your 9 and older child.
It's hard to engage with my children about God. The book shows the characters looking at evidence and detective thinking skills to solve the mystery. Similar tools are used to explore the evidence for God's existence. It is 8 chapters long and includes easy to understand graphics and a simple storyline that I think is best enjoyed with a parent and a book club. It is easy and fun to do it on the web site. I started it when my daughter was 8 years old as some concepts are not easy to comprehend by younger readers. The website has a lot to offer to be able to engage with the topic.

Help your child know why you believe what you believe.
This book makes apologetics fun for children. It teaches them how to think like a detective in a modern day situation. My daughter and I enjoy reading and doing online activities together. She is learning how Christianity sprang from a real event.
