Concise Truths

I purchased the complete version of the Catholic catechism from Amazon and wanted to supplement it with this concise version, written in a question-answer format. Bishop Fulton Sheen said that those who criticize the Catholic Church do not understand the truths of her teachings. I found this to be accurate. It is good to be. Most notably, the teachings of the Catholic Church are from God without distortion. Our dogmas stay in place because they are based on God's word.

Too often I find myself slandered on Amazon by the negative reviews. You come so close to buying an item with 4.5 stars only to see one-star reviews that make it sound terrible! Great resource

I love this book because it is easy to understand and it is a great companion to the catechisis of the Catholic Church. I borrowed this book several years ago from a friend and purchased it for myself. I am a Bible study in a year and it is a great resource to have on hand. Normally, I find physical additions to books, but purchase Kindle copies to be easier to find what I need.

The book answers Catechism of the Catholic Church and takes questions that may arise in reading the Catechism and responds to that question. Reading both at the same time is an experience and very helpful. I highly recommend this book.

A quick way to get through the breadth of the catechism, but obviously not as deep as the full book of the catechisism. Though it is relatively important, it is dense and took me awhile to understand their use of some short words and phrases. I'm about 40% done and plan to go through it all again to get a more understanding of faith.
