   I wish it were organized differently.
This is a nice work book to supplement my online curriculum for second graders, but I wish it was organized like my sixth grade book of the same title, the second version is organized by a daily work guideline, rather than themes. For example, the first grade book will have math, language, reading etc, in the second couple of pages and then repeat a second group of daily themes. However, there are some nice studies of the type of unit. My six graders - workbook of this title is grouped by subject according to grade. That is a more logical way to organize a book of this size, but it requires more work on my part to find the right material to give her on any given day than if it had been organized by subject.

   Good Homeschooling Resource
I am a homeschooling mother of two. It is not a complete curriculum, it covers language skills and mathematics. The exercises are a lot of fun, the explanations are clear, it is indeed comprehensive with regards to language skills. This book does not claim to be a comprehensive curriculum, but claims to be complete and. But for areas such as biology, social studies and so on, you would need to obtain additional resources. My children have grown up on these books and I highly recommend them.

   Almost outstanding
The only thing I did not like was the wide variety of names used in reading comprehension. They were strange and difficult names. The point is reading comprehension, not letting me guess at this name. The exercises were appropriate for age and grade and a great refresher in summer.

   Age appropriate except math
I used the entire book to keep my son from losing a lot during the summer break. Ripped out the math section and had him use the worksheets I printed because these were waaaaaay too easy.

   This is great for homeschooling
My son goes to the second grade and I bought this over the summer to work and prepare him more. There are lots of subjects to choose from and he feels like he is in control when I let him know what subject to do for the day. So many pages and last us for weeks. He is learning a lot!

   Great Summer learning tool
My son bought this at the end of the school year, my son finished 2nd grade just. I wanted him to practice the concepts he learned that year in order to keep him on track for the 3rd grade. This book is great! It contains different pages of many subjects.

I love this book of practice. My kid has a lot of work on this book. Good for grade 2 : The part of maths is also very comprehensive. Kids won 't get bored. The quality of the papers is absolutely perfect. Answers are also given back, helping parents to guide them. I recommend this book for children.
