Board book, not hardcover

This is a board book and not a hardcover. We have this series in hardcover and it was disappointing when I saw the size, but still great for an Easter basket item.

Similar to the other review, this is geared towards smaller children. First of all, it is a board book. A regular hard cover. The dimensions are small and there are fewer words. It is cute for an Easter basket, but it is best for younger kids, 1-2 years old, not older toddlers like the other construction site books.

Adorable book; one oddly designed page

There are cute illustrations. My son will love it. You have to read the page on the right first, then the flap on the left to finish the rhyme. Not something a 2.5 year old needs to understand to really follow along, but seemed like an odd design choice to me. The flap on the right page is the only one that reads left to right.

Another well done addition for the construction site collection

We got this book for our toddler for Easter because he likes the books. He loves them so much that he is going to warn one of them. The hard pages edition is what we ended up getting. The hard pages edition has flaps that fold up on the pages to show things that are part of the story. If your child is into construction trucks, I recommend looking into the others from this series as well.
