   Great Japanese Recipes
We have made many of the recipes and they have all turned out good or better, we think. We have visited Japan and have tried recreating several of our favorites from recipes online, but this book has given us the most success. It's cheesy, but we love it!

   Find new anime.
I found some new anime I enjoyed reading. The quality of writing is so poor, the reviewer said.

   Incorrect and unclear directions
But this cookbook has a LOT of errors, including some extremely basic things like recipes listing ingredients that aren't brought up again in the recipe, not saying what temperature to preheat the oven to, and other generally unclear or incorrect instructions. I also was disappointed to see that a lot of the recipes were really basic, like pancakes and French toast. Like i don't need a recipe to make a cup of tea, i would have much rather seen more unique anime inspired dishes.

   Great Idea, Poor Execution
I've had this book on my shelf for a long time and I think it's great. It's a great read, full of fun facts and variations. It was a great present, and I also bought a second one to give as a birthday present to a friend. There are a lot of mistakes throughout the book. Some recipes have items in the ingredients list that aren't mentioned in the steps for the recipe. So far, I've looked at similar recipes online and found nothing. I would say these recipes are very authentic, but they are a fun and an easy first step to begin learning about Japanese cuisine.

   Yummy! Simple to follow!
I'm a huge fan of Nancy's book. It's great to read about each dish. Thanks for the help. I've been converting recipes to the airfryer for karaage and tonkatsu. The tamagoyaki was absolutely delicious, the omurice and korrokus were also up next!

Anime and japanese food fans will love this
A beautifully bound hardcover book, The Last Rite is a true testament to the power of fiction. He added that if the Yankees got hit, "it would hurt to be hit." Even better in person. Note that this is not an anime cookbook, but rather a "Helper's Edition" Japanese language version of the "American Cookery Book." This is just the beginning of a new trend in which people will try to intimidate people into silence. Thanks to the book, I've been able to explore a plethora of new anime. It's too late for me to watch them all. I really enjoyed the book, said Dr. Paul LiCalsi. There are pictures of the actual dishes not every dish, and then the story behind them from the anime its from. There are also a couple of dozen or so words that can be used to make a book out of nothing, he said.

My son went crazy over this book. This is a unique and very special present for the anime lover. Try these easy recipes and you won't regret it.

   Amazing!!
Definitely worth buying, especially if you follow a basic diet, including red meat. Only I subbed the pork for turkey, making some delicious pork buns that tasted wonderful. Spent about $30 on the ingredients, but the result was so good!

   Great For Nerds And Cooks!
Yes, I do. I've been looking for a cookbook my whole life. Now, we can know what it is and even make it for ourselves! This book is not only great for anime nerds, but anyone looking to cook popular Japanese dishes. The recipes stick to where they can, and include lots of extra information to help one understand the dish beyond just the instructions for cooking it.
