Just the perfect recipes! I wanted to pass on the flavors I learned from my husband's mother and my grandmother to my children and grandchildren. I had problems obtaining them written. I was looking online for help and was so excited to find someone who used the methods and ingredients I had learned. So exquisitely designed, beautiful pictures and instructions that are absolutely clear and concise. The book is wonderful. It was just wonderful. I love the inside covers the best of all. Thank you so much for doing this labor of love.

The delish cooking guide to fabulous Italian food is here. Super recommended highly. All recipes are EASY. I love love the various Italian-American interviews that the author presents with the many non-nas she has met while researching her cookbook. I am 100% Italian, now living in America, and while i never loved cooking, i can now fake it with the step by step directions presented in this beautiful cookbook.

I am an American and married to an Italian man. This book has been an amazing tool in teaching me to make popular dishes his mom makes, and he has absolutely loved every single dish I made. I even had my mother in law look at it and was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of her favorites prepared there very similar to the way she prepares them. Thank youuu Rossella Rago for making the process of learning a new culture much easier.

The book has some great recipes, but I expected a little more. The one recipe I was particularly interested in, Taralli, could have been written with clearer explanations as what to do and when to write. I had made Taralli before, so I had a small knowledge of what I had done, but if I had not, it would be a little difficult to follow. The book has also some great recipes.
