Structured CBT intervention for children
Derived From Web , May 2, 2022
I am a clinical psychologist in private practice working primarily with children and adolescents. Overall, I would recommend the Coping program to other mental health professionals. Please note that therapists will also need to buy the Coping Cat therapy manual, since it does not come with the child workbook.

Hands-down, one of the best treatment modalities for CBT anxiety, is also used by Dr. Goin. I and my colleagues use it a lot when working with kids. This book is highly recommended. Strong evidence that Dr. Goin was correct.

The best researched manualized treatment for children, even evidence for kids with ASD effectiveness
Derived From Web , Dec 6, 2020
Do your research, check out my statements, but in my literature reviews this appears to be the manualized treatment for children with the greatest body of research supporting it's efficacy, and I have used it for years as a licensed psychologist to very good effect for my clients, said Blair. However, being a bit dated looking, this should be on your short list - despite also working with populations such as kids with mild ASDs.

My biggest complaint is that the copyright requires you to ...
Derived From Web , Jan 30, 2017
The copyright requires that you to buy one workbook for each student. Instead of showing them the workbook, I just show them the exercise and we talk about what's on the page. The other students lost a total of about $75 because they couldn't afford the tuition. It's just that terrible, right?
