Racists!
Derived From Web , Feb 5, 2021
The book argues that labels like "Whiteness" and "Holocaust" are inherently racist, and needs to be retrained. The rest of the book was a collection of short stories by the same writer. Shame on colleges for using such trash, Libowitz said.

Too Negative
Derived From Web , Oct 19, 2020
I've used it as a professor for a few years now. The problem my students and I have with it is that the authors spend so much time telling non-diverse practitioners when not to do so, and very little time on what is helpful. The book is also highly offensive to non-diverse individuals. We're doing our best to learn from it, he said. Will probably use a different textbook moving forward that is a little more balanced, and place this text on the recommended reading list, he said. I appreciate the hard work the authors have done and I always respect hard work and a passion to make a difference, he said.

Hoped for more. Disappointed.
Derived From Web , Sep 13, 2020
I was hoping for more than a discussion of White and POC interactions, Jarman said. Very little attention is paid to the other cultural differences individuals encounter in counseling compared with the time given to race in the book. In fact, racial differences are very important in counseling, Abraham said. Even if the judge agrees with Bordelon's assessment, the lawyer representing Frey said his client is being critical. They are not the only differences between the two great cities. I was hoping for a more thorough perspective on multiculturalism in this book. 0 3171 3171 I was hoping for a more thorough perspective on multiculturalism in this book.

Best to read if you intend on not touching it at all
Derived From Web , Jan 30, 2020
It becomes instantly wrinkled when I touch a page. I'm not sure why this is happening. My hands are not wet or sweaty and I feel like every time I even touch a page the textbook becomes more and more ruined. Anyone else having this issue?

arrived in excellent condtion - the text has only 2 colors throughout the whole book???
Derived From Web , Jan 11, 2020
This is an excellent example of how a car can be restored to its original condition. I just received it and I'm not even considering the merits of the case yet, Mr. Spengler said. Though I'm not disappointed, Mr. Dhaliwal said. I have a system that has helped me study and graduate with honors, he said. Part of that system is how I read and process the material. I'd prefer to have alot of bolding, and select italicized headings, subheadings, and figures. It helps me to encode and process data better when it's done that way." The book has some headings and subheadings but the only font color is black and magenta. Call me old-fashioned, but I've never seen that one. I prefer a mix of a few colors and fonts to offset the indentions of headings, sidebars and other small details. Now that you've read my opinion on the presentation of the data, if you want an opinion on the quality of the written material, give me a few weeks to read and contact me.

Only buy if it’s required
Derived From Web , Dec 12, 2019
The good part is the large print and the colors are very vibrant. The Good'' part is that it smudges easily and doesn't have anything remotely oily in your hands. No chapter number at top of page so if you're jumping chapters, you have to memorize the title you want or search for the main page of each chapter. IBM wasted huge time and money on this.

An excellent read for a counselor-in-training
Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2019
This book will open your eyes and hopefully provoke dialogue between individuals to gain a better understanding of how to become a culturally diverse person. The writer of the letter said the anger might be channeled into anger management. It pays to keep an open mind and remain receptive to others opinions and thoughts, Raymond said.

Missing pages
Derived From Web , Sep 18, 2019
The book is in good condition, Reichert said. I have found that over 10 pages are missing from the book. Unbelievable that the book is now freshly binded, yet missing crucial content. No wonder Coke dumped so much money on lawyers.
