   Crash: An insightful book
While the kids were picking out books, I picked up this book. I've been a fan of Spinelli for a long time, but this one had never caught my attention. It blew me away. It is so insightful. I never thought about the way a popular teenage boy's mind works. Crash is an interesting character, but he is also real. I initially thought I had nothing in common with the character Spinelli portrayed, but I was able to relate to it. The book made me ponder. I recommend it to everyone.

When I got this book, I didn't think it would be as good as it is, but I love it more than I thought I would. I love it.

Great book for middle school students!
My son loved this book! Several of his classmates read the book after he finished a book report using this book. He doesn't like to read but this one held his attention. The book would make a good movie.

I like this book. There is a lot of twists and turns. It also leaves you hanging. It completely changes the way you think about things.

Best book my son ever read
My son likes this book because it shows what happens in middle school. The person was bullied. He liked it so much that we are a family book club about it.

   Great Story by JS
My son and I enjoyed reading the book together. There's a lot of laughs as well as some moments for retrospect.

   Fun and interesting read
Crash realized that penn is his real friend after reading the book. I don't like the ending of this book. It says that Penn is his best friend and that's why it's only 4 stars.

   Meh.
I wanted to read this story to my pre-teens. It was too much of a problem for the bully to carry on for too long. Only the last 10% of the book had the main character behaving in a way that was acceptable, and only after he experienced a tragic event. The story line should have focused on the relationship formed in the last sentence of the book, rather than the toxic one during the first 34 of the book.

   Would recommend
A lot of good issues are addressed in the book. Being different, making friends, peer pressure, and family crisis are some of the things being different. The book ends with a good character development for the main character. My 8 year old is taking turns reading the chapters. I had an issue with the sentence structure that felt awkward and I changed words around to make it better. If you are looking for books that are interesting, relate to you and have morals, I would recommend them.
