   Educational, beautiful, and relaxing!
It's just too good to keep turning pages into mindless coloring pages. I love the pictures, said Blair. One of the things I really enjoy about all Creative Haven coloring books is the pages are scored for easy removal from the book. Because you're not battling with the spine of the book, or having to hold the previous pages from closing over the picture, it makes the pictures easier to color.

Very nice book. I like that it has the reference ...
It has the reference in the back of the book to find the name of the birds and the colors that they are. I plan to use this as a good reference book later.

Dot Barlowe is one of the best line artists I have ever seen
I have never seen a line artist as good as Dot Barlowe. Well researched and carefully drawn, I also love that they are printed on single pages, so I copy mine on Cardstock and paint that.. Thus keeping my books pristine and accident free, anyway.

Nice artwork of birds in nature
There are a variety of birds in natural habitats, some with wide open spaces, others with a good bit of detail. I bought this book from my enjoyment of other Dot Barlowe books. 0 3171 3171 This is very rare, and I bought it from my enjoyment of other Dot Barlowe books. It will work best with colored pencils, Copic said. The book is divided into four sections: Animals, Fairies, and Robin Hoods.

   Beautiful pages to color
Beautiful pages to color, as well as the delivery time, were all as expected.

   Very nice
My only wish is that there be a color page for each illustration as a reference.

   Intricate Designs, Adults only
Very nice book, said Pauley. He's a big fan of the foam, and I think it's great. This is a great challenge to the mind, Raymond said. I am crazy about 14 of the bottom pages having a dialogue, Raymond said. Had I known this or did not pay attention, I would not have bought it. It tells you what you're looking for @ where the said AnimalBird lives and their colors. Yes, I love that info, but I think it takes away from the size of the portrait. Just my observation but other then what I just stated the pictures are challenging,Keeps the brain fired up. Which is a positive.

Not What I Wanted or Expected
It seemed like a perfect fit for me, because I am a birdwatcher. Just what I wanted, nesting birds chirping in their habitat. This is merely a coloring book, not by number, with a color guide at the back that is so non-specific it is useless. What's more, the habitat is comprised of flowers and plants -- what colors should they be? Part if this is my fault for not reading more carefully, part because things that do not meet the search criteria are intermingled with things that do. Some kid will like this to color any way, so I'll donate it.

   SOME 'ANIMAL KINGDOM' GRAPHICS
The pictures are colored and the description of the birds at the back of the book is also colored, but several of the pictures include birds and their prey. Other birds holding dead frogs in their mouths, some with bird wings still attached, others with food hanging out of their mouth. Note the labels: Not innocent bird pictures. I'm not a huge fan of the term "relaxing" coloring. Not happy with those pictures at all, Mr. Caramore said. Such a shame since the birds themselves and the scenery could be quite nice without the YUCK factor, he said.

There are amazing birds inside to color
Coloring pages are also available on Pinterest. com. Do you remember when you were a kid and you colored the trees, butterflies, etc all kinds of colors that didn't make sense to you? Just look at Pinterest for ideas! I saw pictures of the most beautiful birds in the world, Tunick said. Some of the panels had three or more colors. The shades were turquoise, yellow, orange, lavender and violet. I just wanted to experience coloring birds with these amazing colors for myself and to know that these birds are real, too. This is one of the bird coloring books I felt I could color.
