Book Overview

From the celebrated team behind Creepy Carrots , Aaron Reynolds and Caldecott Honor winner Peter Brown, comes a hilarious (and just a little creepy) story of a brave rabbit and a very weird pair of underwear.

Jasper Rabbit is NOT a little bunny anymore. He's not afraid of the dark, and he's definitely not afraid of something as silly as underwear. But when the lights go out, suddenly his new big rabbit underwear glows in the dark. A ghoulish, greenish glow. If Jasper didn't know any better he'd say his undies were a little, well, creepy. Jasper's not scared obviously, he's just done with creepy underwear. But after trying everything to get rid of them, they keep coming back

   I don’t mind rereading this 100+ times
Writing and illustrations are great! I think it's even better than Creepy Carrots. The drawings are very similar to a black and white movie. I had my son position the flashlight in the correct direction to light my face up after reading it with a flashlight as a small lesson in art photography. This isn't one of those books that you dread when your kid picks it up again. I am always happy to read it again. The green underwear looks like it's glowing because it's the only neon pop of color in the book.

   Funny story
My students liked the story. It was a great read for kindergarten. We turned off the lights and looked at it. Fun.

Read to kindergarten and up age children!
After reading this book, my grandson put on his underwear. He was scared to open his drawers. He is three years old. It might be a better idea for an older child.

   Cutest Book Ever
Really cute book. I borrowed a reviewer's idea to make the underwear scary. I hope my grandsons enjoy it! It was!

   Glow buy this book now!
This book was read by my second graders last week. This is a great book to read to your children. The book is funny and one reason we love it. Jasper's underwear follow him everywhere he goes, so the book is funny. The ending has a funny surprise. The book was interesting and is one of the reasons we love it. The author made this book more interesting by using details from the movie. Jasper has to find a solution to his problem. The book is a must read for us. You should also read Creepy Carrots! Purchase them both!

This book is hilarious (although not as good as original)
I liked the look of the carrots. A follow-up book is nice. I do not enjoy it as much as the original. The premise and ending of the original makes sense. The premise is silly and in-line with the previous book. I do enjoy it, but I don't enjoy it as much. The minimal color scheme is what I love about the artwork. Excellent recommendation!

The creepy face changes to smiles
I bought it for Halloween but my grandson still loves it. He was very happy when he got his first pair of underwear.
