An amazing read

The Crooked Kingdom was at least as good as Six of Crows. When you read a great book it makes you realize how rare and special it is. The characters are complex and rich. They have their own lives that they explore. The plot is great. It's well crafted with enough surprises to keep you guessing. It doesn't feel like the author is trying to hurry you, but it moves along quickly. A splendid book is all the way around this. Bardugo is one of the authors whose books are must- buy.

A dysfunctional found family that is entirely too good at scheming and plotting
Derived From Web , Feb 4, 2022
I need more to stop it. I'm actually crying. If the first one was perfect, this topped it. I want to be a part of this family. They love their own twisted ways. Kaz's mind was constantly scheming and scheming and scheming. The dynamics between the cast were well executed. Looking after one another is what we're here to do.

Excellent wrap up
Derived From Web , Jul 14, 2021
This was a great way to finish the first book. Despite the nickname dirty hands, I enjoyed the lightening of Kaz's character. The next set of books was surprised by the ravkan delegation. I would have made the characters a bit older as their ages were too unbelievable for me, especially at times. The book is excellent.

Tricks, traps and tragedy
Derived From Web , Jul 7, 2021
There is so much danger and action in this book. There were tears but also a lot of hope. I waited to read these two so I could binge them. I wish The Shadow and Bone Trilogy was a duology because it would have packed more punch and less trudging through. I wonder how long it will take me to read The King of Scars and Rule of Wolves.

Excellent ending
Derived From Web , Jun 22, 2021
The conclusion to the Dregs plot is called Crooked Kingdom. It is always a pleasure to read, it is action packed, full of heart, and with a stunning cast. I'm perfectly content with where this book ended and I hope Bardugo doesn't expand the series. It is a very good YA novel.

My Favorite Leigh Bardugo Book
Derived From Web , May 6, 2021
Wow! Wow. This is one of Bardugo's best work. Every chapter is captivating. The chapters change POV so that you can gain insight into the lives and thoughts of every crow. The cleverness and mastermind in the end is amazing, but I'm happy with it.

Incredible story, high quality paperback
Derived From Web , May 6, 2021
For a book. It doesn't have a double cover like Six Of Crows. This cover has a premade crease so you don't have to worry about creasing it. The story is not easy to understand. It depends on their maturity, I would say ages 15 and up. Prostitution and trauma from having been a proustite can be experienced. It's not bad but it's more mature than average YA. The book is great. One of my favorites.

This review does not reflect the story..
Derived From Web , Aug 28, 2020
I am so upset that this review doesn't reflect the story that I received a book with an add thing printed on it. The cover is one of the biggest parts of my books and I am obsessed with it. I don't want a book with a sticker on it, but I'd still be upset if a sticker was on it. I am returning these immediately, but I can't comment on the story because I haven't read it yet.

EVEN BETTER than the first!
Derived From Web , Jun 27, 2019
I loved this book. The characters here have some beautiful, heartbreaking moments that made me cry, and Bardugo dives into them. The action in this one is intense. From page one. I can't wait to dive into King of Scars next, I really enjoyed this duology and universe.
