BONE is more thrilling, adventurous, and hilarious than ever in this conclusion to Jeff Smith's bestselling comic book saga

It's full-fledged war as Briar, the rat creatures, and the Pawan army storm the city of Atheia. The Bone cousins, Thorn, and Gran'ma Ben are all there to defend the Valley and stop the return of the Lord of the Locusts. When Thorn goes inside a ghost circle, she hears a voice urging her to seek the Crown of Horns. What follows is another dangerous journey for Thorn and loyal Fone Bone as they race to the sacred grounds of the dragons, searching for the one thing that may save them all. This is the breathtaking conclusion to Jeff Smith's nine-book graphic novel series.

A Book That Made My Daughter READ!
This is the last in a series of book comics that MADE my child wants to read. These books are written for children between 10 and 13 years of age. My child HATED reading and it was difficult to help my child in school. The teacher thought that this book series might help. My child now reads voraciously and my reading skills went from BELOW BASIC to ADVANCED at the end of the school year! I read these books and find them appropriate for the above ages. I hope this helps and KUDOS to the author for writing this interesting and entertaining series of stories. I hope this is a good reading idea for children who simply need to SPARK their desire for reading. As a parent, I would be remiss to read a book without ENCOURAGING other parents to read it first or ask their child's teacher to see if it is appropriate for their own child. Thank you.

Great books. He wishes there were more to read
He was written in a comic form and devoured these books within a few weeks. I kept having to buy the next one and then donated them to his library, so that his friends could read. He even read them out of sequence, then went back and read in order. Great books : He wishes there were more books to read.

Bone... a childs entry into comicbook fandom.
I can not tell you how many people I have recommended Bone to. Each time I'm in a comic retailer and see a mother and a youngster looking for something to break into the comics - scene. The first thing in mind is Bone. It is a great book for all ages, it is well written and your children will love it. With all the adult fun out there..., you really have to be more cautious about reading what your children are reading. Bone is known for being secure and quality. RECOMMENDED HIGHLY.

   My grandson loved it
My grandson of 9-year-old Bone started reading the books from the school library and loved them. He informed me that book #7 and # 9 were not available from the school library. I then purchased them as a surprise. He also rereads his books. He recommends the Bone series highly.

   My kids love these books
I personally do not understand the appeal, but my children 6, 9 and 11 think they are great and I am always happy to buy books for them, even if they are comic books. Even the six-year-old who does not read a ton really likes looking through them.
