   Engaging book.
Very cute book. Low reading level, for short attention spans, and gives a young person something to do while reading, which in turn helps them stay engaged. Although, I think the content may be one step up from the reading level. Many kids can't decide whether to use a hammer or wrench on taking a bike tire off. It would be cooler if there was actually something to hammer or a bolt to unscrew in the pages. Overall great book for young kids.

Cheap Glue -> Book in Pieces
It's a cute book, but the glue they used to hold it together doesn't work. The first time i showed this to my son, he ripped out a pull tab. He didn't even pull it. The doctor said it came off like nothing. He's had it a few weeks now, and most of the tabs and a few pages are no longer attached, he said. I would not recommend it at all.

Cute tool book about different uses for hammer and wrench
This book is adorable and my 2 1/2 year old LOVES it. It helps him learn the different ways in which hammers and wrenches are used. He actually pretends to hammer on the pages for hammer and turns the wrench for the wrench. My only complaint is I wish the hammerwrench had been made with a little stronger material as ours is now bent and broke but probably because he played with it so much. Very cute, said Sophia.

So much fun! And problem-solving skills
My 2 1/2 year old LOVES tools and this book was a smash hit. I wish I had gotten it for him sooner. He brings his other tools to work alongside George, and he loves to explain to me why he wants to use the wrench vs. the hammer. Now I know he won't be the "if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail" guy when he grows up - he will at least be quite fluent in "hammer" and "wrench." I think this is great problem solving, and it keeps his wheels turning, too. He has always been a bookworm but it never hurts to add something beyond a textured page to the reading experience! This has been our favorite of the novelty George books, and I think he would have enjoyed it even if it had lasted 15 months.

   Great interactivity yet so simple
The book comes with a paper two-sided tool called the HammerWrench, attached by a long ribbon. This tool the child holds as we go to page to page, and he has to assess which tool to use for the job. Simply put, it requires tapping or turning the device. It's one of his favorites now and we read several books each night.

Cute Board Book Plus Thinking Skills
Terrific book for toddlers and their growing minds. Not quite a baby but still a bit rough on paper this story is a great bridge for young ones to develop thinking skills. Curious George is working on projects and needs help deciding which is the hammer or wrench the best choice. A ribbon is attached to the book and ready for use on each page. This book was paired with a very cuddly, totally cute stuffed Curious George and gifted to a two year old. Very well received indeed.

   Good idea, poorly executed
This seems like a good idea to teach kids about tools and how to be helpful, too. Except the tool on the book is attached with a very short ribbon and you have to keep moving the tool out of the way in order to turn the page. This book is an exercise in wrestling things away from your child in order to advance the story. A longer ribbon could be attached to the back of the book to make it more entertaining.

   Love the wrench/hammer
My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves this book. There's a little card that has a ribbon on one side and a hammer on the other that says, "Merry Christmas." As you read the book you decide which tool you use for the project on each page. I bought this to go with the tool set I got him for Christmas.

Very fun book, my toddler loves it!
Curious George was my 2 1/2 year old daughter's favourite. I bought this book as a Christmas present for her and I absolutely love it. Great for boys or girls. The book has a really cool book mark attached to it with a picture of a hammer on one side and a wrench on the other. As you read, your child can decide which tool to use to help George fix things like his bike, a bird house, and bath tub. There are just one or two sentences per page, and every page rymes. This book is highly recommended for any toddler.
