My son in second grade LOVES this series and asked Santa for more of these books for Christmas. He takes them to school with him every day, so that he can read them on the bus and compare notes with his friends who are reading other books from this series. I'm willing to buy any book that gets my kid so excited about reading.

I read with my son all the books by Ranger in Time. He is now a 3rd grader who reads way above this level and still counts these as his favorite series. He was impressed with D-Day, especially after learning a bit in school about World War II and can 't wait for the book on Hurricane Katrina to be published.
