My 2yr old Daughter Loves it!
Derived From Web , Mar 11, 2022
I believe we have about 10 of these books by Leslie Patricelli and are my daughter's favorite. Just now, Mad Mad Mad, No Yes No Yes, and Yummy Yucky are the other ones she picks most. I have read Nighty Night so many times that I can recite it now to her and she helps me.

Good message, some baby talk, but good overall
Derived From Web , Jul 24, 2021
I like this book for my son because it shows the father performing things like cooking and cleaning and having fun with the child. It also normalizes two ancestor families with a picture at a point, but not in an over the top way. I don 't like the babyile language give me a tubby '' and uppy Daddy '', but it is overall a good book for toddlers.

Adorable and inclusive

The main character is white if gender neutral. There are a variety of family structures involved in the book that are both cute and wholesome. Plus, the words are simple enough for my little to repeat them for awhile. Book is great!

Great for toddlers

My daughter, Mommy, is attached to me. I wanted to give her a book about daddies, and this is a winner! She asks to read it a lot and will even make the onomatopoeia sounds with me as we read. Patricelli books we love!!!

New values

This is the way of the world now, so that a lot of people will like it, but for people who don 't want to introduce their children to homosexuality, they have to skip these books. They introduce two Daddies '' and the book introduces two Mommies ''.

Good read!
Derived From Web , Apr 9, 2021
It was a very enjoyable and relatable book for my three-year-old. It actually seemed to me as if it was written with my husband in mind! My child and I are fans of this author and his series and go out of our way to add to our fairly large collection.

Sweet

My teen boy loves his Daddy and loves this book. It is so nice to have another book with a dad, as many books focus on mom. It is super cute, has simple rhymes, and shows a variety of things that dads do and ways for dads to look. My kids love wrestling, making pancakes and snuggling with Daddy. This book has it all. I love how it ends-my Daddy is right for me.
