I have read many devotionals, but this one is tailored to men and then some. The format the author uses is unique for devotionals. Each passage and story is broken up into two parts. You read a bible verse and a story about it. The next day, you read part two which puts the verse in context and then moves on to reflection questions and application. Very well done!

A review of the book stated that it was "all testamentary verses." The Harrisons did not get into this business by accident, Frey said. The author does use a lot of Isaiah, but he throws in some new testament stuff. The main thing is that this devotional is amazing, Raymond said. Every day has such a great message then the next day takes the previous reading a step further and offers some great questions to ponder. He has a book out there that every man needs.

Bought for my husband, it's a nice find, not as common in local stores. Daily devotional by chris bolinger. He has a ribbon marker on his wrist. DAY 1 you read a small verse, followed by a story type reading the first day and take time to reflect on your thoughts, then on DAY 2 you read a passage, verse, and followed by a prayer. Faux leather cover. nan

Great lite read for those who want to get more into the word of God. It has 2 days of devotion focusing on a single topic with the first day being a story or devotion and the second day on the biblical versus the pagan. Overall great for those trying to get in the word but not too deep for those who feel moved.
