Helps my 4th Grader in Spelling
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I went to school and my 4th grader has some problems with spelling. I decided to give him these word ladders and have been helpful. He likes them, but sometimes needs a little help. I can 't figure out a few without cheating! But I do think that he is giving more attention to the order of letters in words.

These books are a great way for presenting vocabulary and having fun while doing it. We used these with summer bridge books for a summer review and preparation for the next grade.

My kids love these word ladders. My kids love these word ladders. When one finishes their homework and the other hasn 't, it is a great time filler for them. I have them do word ladders I have them do.

This was a fun and engaging workbook for both my sons. Simple, but effective. They liked it when they did it. And the price was just right.

Great for my 3rd grader
Derived From Web , Aug 19, 2021
This book is really great for my homeschooled 3rd grader. She does a page a few times a week and works well for spelling practice and just plain Logicriddles to figure out the words. One star off just because she can never seem to do a book without help because some of the words are just not words my well-read 8-year-old knows.

Love it

My daughter is in grade 1 and she loved writing this book. It is so much fun to climb the ladder and reach the final word. Most of the time we did this as a family because each of us loved to figure out what comes next. This increases lateral thinking in children, as sometimes there are words that would click after reading the clue, but what you actually need to do is to get a word from the previous word. A fun book for children and the family. We also got to the next level of this book because we loved the concept.

Great book that helps!
Derived From Web , Oct 16, 2020
This book is great! My second grader has some trouble with her spelling, but helps me to do these fun ladders every day. There are some words that I doubt young kids would figure on their own. If I am being honest, I even had trouble figuring some of them out. They’re just not the words that you hear very often today. But for those more difficult words, my daughter and I work together. And if you're really struggling, there is always the answer key in the back. If you have a young child who struggles with spelling, I would definitely recommend this book!

Not a good book
Derived From Web , Jun 13, 2020
Someone put the ball on publishing this. The question key and the answers do not match. It was even confusing to me and I'm Teacher, the Ladder does not go in order. They ask a question that's the answer to the next word in the ladder. Avoid.
