   Daniel Tiger fans will like it
I ordered this for my son, who is currently in the process of potty training. It is a board book with a button that you can push to make a squirting noise on each page. It follows the second half of the potty training episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, where he visits Stan's Music Shop and needs to go potty. It addresses the issue of using the bathroom in public places, so that toddlers know that there are toilets everywhere they could go. I was hoping for something a bit more instructional for my two-year-old, who has not yet mastered the potty and has some anxiety about using the toilet. He likes the flushing button, but the sound quality was poor. Kids who love Daniel Tiger will like this book, but parents looking for an instructional book to model potty time behavior should choose something else.

   He's a great guy!
It is fun to read on the Potty while sitting on the couch. I also listened to Daniel Tiger's Potty Song and downloaded Daniel Tiger Rewards stickers for each pee or pee on the potty. Daniel Daniel Tiger and timing helped my toddler potty train in just under a week.

   Batteries aren't replaceable
Daniel Tiger loves our little one. Daniel Tiger loves, loves and hates the Daniel Tiger. It's a licensed product, so all the artwork is the same as the TV show and the story was very simple, but very much like Daniel Tiger scripts, unfortunately, the batteries wore out very quickly, in about 3-4 days. I want to contact the customer service to replace it, but the tantrums that would ensue if our new book did not have their favorite potty book would not be worth a little book that would probably run out again in a short time.

   Kids love it. Button sucks
My children love this book. I bought it first two years ago to prepare my son for potty training. The button to make the flushing sound was really hard to push though. He couldn t push it himself and it was hard for me to do it too. I figured it was a faulty button but it wasn 't worth returning. We read it several times per day. The batteries in the flush button died eventually, so I bought a second one. The button is just as hard to press. It is definitely an issue with the book, not a fluke. And it has already been a month and the battery is only dying now. It's too bad. Kids though still love it. And now we make the flush sound ourselves.

Press the flush button and it sounds like a cat screams. I don 't know who could think that this sounds like a flushing toilet in their right minds. It is turned off the top. The story is not relevant - just tells all about different stores, etc. where you can go potty if you need to when you are out and about. This is usually not the issue with potty training. The point is just to teach the child to use the potty at home. Very disappointed ''. Someone is sure of cashing in on Daniel's stuff!

   Succinct version of TV episode
We made our kid watch this episode from Daniel Tiger for 2 weeks before we started our potty trainings. I was psyched that there was a book version of the episode in which Stan needs to pee while at Music Man Daniel's shop, complete with flushing sounds and references to the song. It is easier to watch the book than to whip out a 15 minute episode. Inspired my defiant kid to finally accept that the Potty was his future since Daniel was also doing it.

   Make sure "flush" sound works
The story line was great, however my flush battery was almost gone when I bought the book. I thought I had it sent right back, but I thought you could change the battery... nope.

   Great for older children but not for my 2 year old.
This book would be appropriate for a child who is at least 3 and half years old and older. I gave it 5 stars because it is a great book and would be a good tool to train a child old enough to understand it.
