The most dramatic book in the series is this one. Amy and Ty are trying to save horses from a barn that is about to be destroyed by a tornado. When the roof starts to fall with only one horse left inside, Amy is the one who gets out. Brooke puts this book together in such a way that it leaves you hanging on to her every word. It's one of my favorites. Five stars all the way.

Half of the battle of getting your child to read is finding reading material they will enjoy. My daughter loved the book series. She hid the books she read from me so I wouldn't judge her for not reading other books. I am going to call that a victory. She is in her 20s now. She has books.
